Xilex for Stone presents its 1h drying and resining machinery for natural stone slabs in Marmomac 2020. The great meeting point for professionals of this sector in this occasion will be celebrated online.

Xilex for Stone’s proposal is an easy and affordable update of the natural stone slabs manufacturing lines (marble, granite, onyx, quartzite…) with its machines, Ares 3500 and Kronos 3500. This machinery completes the drying and resin process in just 1h obtaining slabs ready to polish.

These machines enable the continuous ‘online’ work and eliminate the intermediate storage spaces and the traditional waiting times 24h-48h-72h of thee conventional machines. This entails a productivity rise around the 30%.

Non slab breaks and improvement of the finish quality

Xilex for Stone technology carries out the resin & curing process (epoxy, polyester and polyurethane) of natural stone slabs with the best anti-breakage results and quality of the surface finish through a precise control of the resin filtration. Likewise, these machines have the functionality of obtaining different color tones to adapt the production to different aesthetic finishes.

The breaks reduction, thus the decrease of the process repetition and material refunds, together with the productivity increase in productivity entail savings up to 350.000 €/year approximately (in 30 slabs/hour resin lines). These savings are also related to the elimination of intermediate storage, the reduction of the total amount of chemical product required to carry out the treatment and the energy efficiency of the machines.

Resin filtration control as the anti-break key

Xilex for Stone will lead a workshop at Marmomac 2020 (1st Oct./13:30h CEST) on how to control the resin filtration as a key point to obtain high quality slabs.

This workshop is aimed at professionals of the natural stone sector who are looking for easy-to-implement solutions to solve the problem of slab breakage related to poor resining and curing processes.
